Senior Project Engineer (Civil)
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Civil) to support on-site construction management for commercial and institutional projects in Hyderabad. You will report to the Project Manager and be responsible for day-to-day site supervision, QA and contractor coordination.
What You'll Do
- Supervise daily construction activities and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers on site
- Conduct quality inspections at key construction milestones
- Maintain site records, daily diaries and photographic documentation
- Monitor and update programme progress against the master schedule
- Raise and track RFIs; coordinate design clarifications with the PMC team
- Assist in preparation of monthly progress reports
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- 5-8 years of site supervision experience on commercial or institutional projects
- Good understanding of IS codes and standard construction methods
- Experience with AutoCAD for drawing review and mark-up
- Proactive approach with strong attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience in curtain wall or glazed facade construction
- Familiarity with BIM / Navisworks
- Prior PMC experience
